I am so much more of a beach bum than a snow bunny, but I think that's got more to do with a certain wimpiness in the face of the cold and not a respect for the loveliness of winter. Winter camping or yurting is so fierce I think. Looks like a beautiful adventure and lovely way to start your year. Have a happy one.
A kind of paradise! So glad the knee healed in time for this idyll. The light looks intoxicating, but I'm sure that was the only such feature ... right. Were there cocktails with snow and icicles? Wonder if skiing will become a new passion for you two.
