a night out

It's not the John, but it IS one of the sweetest camping spots I've ever seen,

replete with special sitting stones in the swift, cool water.

Some crazy dude showed up with red wine and smoked oysters! Literally floated across the river in an inner tube with a sack full of hors d'oeuvres, I kid you not.

The lumberjack isn't there every night...we lucked out.

The handsome valet works for tips.

I guess the trial run was a success! Oysters and truffles. Since when are they part of Milford rustic cuisine? Love, Mum

Golly, it was fun! I think tubing to supper is the way to go for all summer dinner parties. And any pesky spills get cleaned up on the return trip.

The company was superior, so the terrifying dangers of tubing the shallow, rocky Delaware were well worth it. Invite me any time!
